Where's the best place to have a baby in Gaithersburg?

That’s a great question! So many people just stick with their long-time gynecologist, and go wherever they happen to deliver babies. This is not the best way to figure out where to give birth in Gaithersburg. Do your research! Look for a provider who has a philosophy that aligns with your own. It just so happens that one of the best hospital-based midwifery practices actually catch babies right in Gaithersburg’s backyard! Midwifery Care Associates is a stellar midwifery practice with low c-section rates, high VBAC rates, and a dedication to women-centered, evidence-based care in a hospital setting. They practice at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, which is right off of I-270 in Rockville.

Jenny was a fabulous doula and I really don’t think we could have gotten through the labor without her. She helped us every step along the way, from the very start weeks before the labor, and during the labor she was amazing, all the way to weeks after the labor. Jenny helped keep me and my husband calm. Jenny helped us stick to our birth plan as much as possible, and was so so helpful to my husband, who was a bit of a wreck! I’m so glad we had Jenny during our labor and birth and would definitely use her again.
